ANNUAL RECEPTION CELEBRATES DEVOTED PARTNERS IN EDUCATION
On May 22nd, MCHS held its annual Partners in Education Scholarship Fund reception in the school's historic library. A highlight of this event was the awarding of the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Service Award, which is bestowed upon those who partner with Mother Cabrini to educate the minds, character, hearts and souls of its students. Nearly 50 guests attended the event which opened with a welcom from the MCHS Drum Corps and Color Guard.

CLASS OF 2012
Members of the Class of 2012 who are to complete the Summer Program should submit their payment no later then June 2, 2008. The summer program will run from Monday, July 7 to Thursday, July 24.
ROSE KELLY MCTAGUE APPOINTED AS THE NEXT
HEAD OF MOTHER CABRINI HIGH SCHOOL
The Board of Trustees of Mother Cabrini High School has announced that Rose Kelly McTague will succeed Brian Donahue as Head of School of Mother Cabrini High School. Mr. Donahue has announced his decision to retire after dedicating 44 years to Catholic education and 12 years as Head of School.

SPEND SPRING BREAK DEDICATED TO SERVICE
For the third consecutive year, 17 Mother Cabrini High School students have devoted their spring break to faith and service by traveling to volunteer with their sister school, Cabrini High School, in the French Quarter section of New Orleans, Louisiana. Under the guidance of Campus Minister Matthew Bizzarro and religion teacher Jennifer Lennon, the students worked to assist the people of New Orleans as they continue to recuperate from the effects of Hurricane Katrina.

MOTHER CABRINI HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS PITCH
MARKETING CONCEPTS FOR LOCAL RESTAURANT
Mother Cabrini High School’s Marketing Class, an elective open to students in their senior year, has traded in their textbooks and pens for a more hands on marketing experience. Instead of completing a semester long paper for their final grade, Cabrini students teamed up with Stop 125 restaurant owner Mr. Neil Feinberg to create marketing concepts that will promote the restaurant’s success and anticipated longevity.

HIGH FIVE TO HIGH VOLTAGE
On February 13th, 2008, Mother Cabrini High School (MCHS) welcomed back celebrity fitness guru High Voltage (a.k.a. Kathie Dolgin) and the Energy Up Health and Wellness Program. MCHS was selected five years ago by the High Voltage as the first high school to pilot her now nationally recognized Energy Up Program, which began as a movement to educate adolescents on the dangers of obesity.

MOTHER CABRINI HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
CARRY OUT AN EDUCATION OF THE HEART
For the fourth consecutive year, nine Mother Cabrini High School students and two faculty chaperones, Campus Minister Matthew Bizzarro and Guidance Counselor, Kristina Doyle, traveled to Syracuse to continue the ideals of Mother Cabrini through the education of the heart. From January 26 through January 30, 2008, the student volunteers worked at L'Arche, a community in Syracuse, New York for adults with developmental disabilities.
