Applying to Mother Cabrini High School

Applying to Mother Cabrini High School is done in one of two ways. Students can apply through the Test for Admission to Catholic High School (TACHS) by listing MCHS (#208) for scores to be sent. For students who do not take this test, an interview can be scheduled by calling 212-923-3540. This process includes taking comprehensive exams in writing, reading and mathematics. Mother Cabrini High School has a rolling admissions policy.

Students enrolled in Catholic elementary schools can register for the TACHS through their grammar school. Students in public schools can obtain an application for the TACHS from their school counselor, through the website at www.tachsinfo.com or by phone at 1-866-618-2247. Applications are also available by contacting the Director of Recruitment and Public Relations at (212) 923-9114.

The TACHS Exam will be administered on November 7th for the Archdiocese of New York and on November 8th, 2008 for the Archdiocese of Brooklyn/Queens. To view the TACHS calendar of events, which includes deadlines to register, click here.
